Sitting, staring out my window I watch beautiful bursts of colours. Fireworks.
So many times in the past few years I've been 'too busy' to just stop and sit and watch. I take the time now because I know it is the little things that keep us going. They are what make life beautiful and enjoyable. I feel these are the moments we ought to grab and cherish. This is when we should take a step back from our hectic lives and be fully present. Presence in these moments is a present to ourselves and allows us to reenter our lives with more joy in our hearts.
We need to embrace life's presents when they come, so I invite you to slow down time and observe the beauty around you. Whether it be a firework display, a flower starting to bloom, or anything silly or lovely that makes you smile, breathe, smile, take it in and feel a sense of peace and beauty.
