Clutter, you don't realise how much
it weighs on your mind until it's gone. This past week I've started doing the Kon-mari method of tidying up. The main premise is that you should only keep things that bring you joy and that you should arrange your things in such a way that you can easily access and see everything you own. It is simply brilliant. I've only just started this journey and already I can feel a shift. After going through all my clothes and sorting them out I have a greater care for the items I do own and appreciate them more. Anything that was out of alignment with me I gave to charity and it feels so refreshing to go to your drawers and find what you want in a second. It's such a warm breath of release to feel the weight of things that were tied up with negative energy gone. Like releasing a butterfly from our too clenched hands sometimes we hold our possessions too tightly and to a much higher regard than they need to be held. If it is meant to be in your life it will find a way back to you. Maybe in not exactly the same way/form but it will. Freeing ourselves of what doesn't matter and what may be tired and old and doesn't spark joy allows our minds and our souls to be free for new things to enter our life and that is exciting.
Creating structure for your space helps create structure for your life.
If you're feeling in a funk, or like your life feels overburdened then perhaps take a look at your space and give decluttering a try. Use the Konmari method or your own and feel the lightness of letting things go.
Wishing you all a clear and peaceful mind
Lots of Love
